Who we are

At Novant Health Maternal-Fetal Medicine, we combine the latest medical techniques with years of medical knowledge to care for mothers and babies in both high-risk and routine pregnancies. Our providers monitor the growth and development of unborn babies along with the health of mothers, and provide the most detailed information possible to identify and manage any concerns. Should you or your baby need specialized care during your pregnancy, you can rely on Novant Health Maternal-Fetal Medicine to support you and work alongside your obstetrician to reach the best pregnancy outcome possible.

Advanced technology

Novant Health Maternal-Fetal Medicine uses advanced ultrasound technology to give detailed images of unborn babies as well as other structures within mothers' bodies. Our providers also complete procedures including chorionic villus sampling and amniocentesis when needed to evaluate a fetus. This advanced testing can give you and your providers information necessary to make decisions about your unborn baby's health and development. Our providers have years of experience completing these tests and are always learning about new technology as it becomes available.

When you visit Novant Health Maternal-Fetal Medicine, you are adding to the team of medical providers focused on your health and the health of your unborn baby. Our providers will work with any obstetricians, midwives or other providers involved in your prenatal care.
